How are Plants useful?
Plants are important to us because they provide the air we need, to be able to breathe. They take in the Carbon Dioxide we breathe out and let out Oxygen for us to breathe in. We can use them as herbs for healing injuries or health and also some plants are used in medication. Quinine is the popular medicine, is extracted from cinchona plant. This medicine is used to cure of malaria. Plants are also important to humans for it is apart of our food chain. Our body needs plants because there are some nutrients in them that we can't get from meat and other food products. They are also important in other things like our shelter, buildings, home furnishings, and other supplies like papers, glues, and pencils. Plants aren't only useful to Humans but to many other animals as well, such as Herbivores. No herbivore animal would be able to survive if there were no plants. Without plants, there would be not food chain, since plants are the producers.
